Field Day

The February 2014 Issue of W Magazine has a charming and eccentric editorial titled "Field Day" photographed by Craig McDean ...

The Editorialit stars models Malaika Firth, Juliana Schurig, Marina Nery, Irene Hiemstra and Sasha Luss. The outlandish looks were handpicked by stylist Edward Enninful from the likes of Giorgio Armani, Jil Sander and Chanel.

The innovative hair do’s are created by hair stylist James Pecis while make-up artist, Peter Philips, adds brilliant touches with his cosmetics brushes.

Full of vibrantly rich colours, bold clashing patterns and tons of layers, the eccentric ensembles are enhanced by nature’s colours and compliment its beauty.

Far Far From Land

The phenomenal Kristen McMenamy teamed up with my favourite Photographer Tim Walker for W Magazine to create an enchanting editorial titled “Far, Far From Land” ...

In this fashion fairytale, McMenamy was transformed into a dark, breathtaking mermaid with the help of stylist Jacob K. The ingenious Walker becomes the narrator, of a doomed love story, where McMenamy is captured in a hauntingly majestic manner, fatally trying to become human to win the love of her heart’s desire.

Mermaid-like hair was created by Julien d'Ys and Makeup done by Stéphane Marais.

Where the waters are as blue as the petals of a cornflower and as clear as glass, there, where no anchor can reach the bottom, live the mer-people.

Katy Perry for W Magazine

Singer Katy Perry is the November cover star of W Magazine, appearing sultry on 2 covers. Mario Sorrenti shot the “Roar” star in a series of retro-inspired images styled by Edward Enninful ...

Wearing the designs of Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs amongst others; Katy wows in the sexy spread.

Inside the magazine, Katy opens up about her first hit “I Kissed a Girl” saying, “It was a bit radical to sing about bisexuality, but it was a topic that was on the tip of everybody’s tongue. And even though it was ‘I kissed a girl, and I liked it, and that’s what I like to do sometimes,’ I sang it with a wink.”
