The rich interior and exterior of the building provide the perfect backdrop to Creative Director Raf Simons’ elegant designs. The gowns showcased are totally in their element — surrounded by grand staircases, ornate ceilings and dramatic chandeliers.

In addition to full skirted, strapless dresses, the Dior Fall 2013 ad campaign shows off a few sophisticated jackets, statement necklaces and glamorously polished beauty looks; a night at the opera has never seemed so elegant. 

Secret Garden

Dior releases a second installment of its “Secret Garden” campaign featuring Fall 2013 looks. Captured by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the advertisements star Daria Strokous and other models in a French forest near Petit Trianon. 

I just Love the ladylike designs of Creative Director Raf Simons, placed in this dreamy and mysterious set.

The first ready-to-wear campaign for Spring 2013 was photographed by Willy Vanderperre in a series of chic, pictorial scenes. 

Models Daria Strokous, Daiane Conterato, Nicole Pollard, Anna Martynova and Marie Piovesan are today’s Dior women in a simple, minimal setting reminiscent of an art gallery.

And just when it seems that this Fairytale Shoot couldn’t get any better, Dior has made sure to include handbags which float through the air, ultra-chic geese and giant roses. 

The accompanying film titled, “An Exceptional Christmas” (and featured after the cut) shows the ultra-feminine looks in motion.
